how do i start writing code?

i'm an ACT newbee and i programmed CRM Dynamics in the past.

i'm trying to find were to write code in ACT 

i downloaded the SDK and read the examples of code and the ACT SDK , but can't find were i can code?

 

i tried  tools --> Design layouts --> contact . but thats for only customization,  i want to write something like this:

when choosing an item from a list control , make other control hidden.

 

can you tell me were can i write code in ACT ?

in dynamics i have the customization tab and then i choose the form i want to write code for , and thats it.

It might also be an idea to read through this pdf (its part of the SDK zip) which can help you get familiar with the architeture etc...

The IDE of choice is Visual Studio, if I remember correctly the express version is free. There is no integrated development environment within the application itself.

so you are saying there is no way to write the code in the ACT environment itslef... ok.

then i have VS2010 , can you give me a link or video of how to actually deveope code for changing fields and lists...?

how do i write the code in the VS and then export it to the ACT ?
