We use ACT Custom Tables for our service desk. In one of our tables we have a field called Ticket Number which is a sequential text field. Currently, we have nearly 2000 tickets in the table, however recently our ticket number had been reset back to 0.
I tried going into the field setting however because the field type is now blank, I cannot get to the next screen to change the initial number
To temporarily get around the issue, I created a program which gets rid of duplicate ticket numbers and gives it a new number which isn't being used in the table.
My question is, where about does ACT pick up what the next ticket is? Is it in a SQL table? Is it in a file somewhere in the database directory?
Once I found where this number is, I can then manually change it to 2000 to stop the duplicates
