Tools menu is Grayed Out.

Ok. Here is a weird one.

So I am playing with Plugins. Suddenly my tools menu is grayed out.

Now I had created a sub-folder in the plugins folder with a all the dlls from the act Assembly cache. I thought this might be the problem. Well I have moved this folder to another place and removed my plugin, but the tools menu is still grayed out.

Go figure. What's Up?


The Actlog.xml is nothing but info messages. I tried clearing the Dependentdlls.xml file, but that had no effect.

Removing all the Preferences and then restarting did the trick.

This is usually caused by a bug in your code that isn't unregistering the menu correctly when Act exists, I've done it to myself before
