My company is new to ACT! and one thing we would like to do with it is be able to create custom reports by directly accessing the data in the SQL tables. I'd like to be more specific but I don't yet know exactly what kind of reports the owner wants to generate other than that they will be used for marketing.
My question is this, I've looked thorugh the the CONTACT table and the COMPANY table. I can (somewhat) see how a contact is related to a company (i.e. CompanyID) but I can't seem to figure out how the Secondary Contacts are related to the contact. I can see them in the table, I know they are secondaries because I created them but I can't see any type of identifier that tells me that this particular row/contact is a secondary contact. This may or may not be a big deal for what we intend to do but I'd like to know ahead of time what we're dealing with.
Can anyone tell me anything?

Basically the field TypeNum in the database indicates the type of contact.
IIRC it's 0 for regular, 1 for user, 2 for secondary.
And in TBL_Secondary you can find which secondary contact is linked to which regular contact.
