Providing ACT technical support for a third party.

Hi,

We are a software development company providing custom software solutions.

One of our clients use ACT version 11. As a part of a larger project, we need to build an automatic interface to import and export ACT data between their ACT application and external databases using the API SDK.

We do not have ACT installed at our company, so we were wondering what our options are for developing the interface locally. We are unable to develop at the client.

Can the ACT API be obtained by us and installed locally with a test database but without the ACT application, or is this not feasible / not allowed?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much,

Tony stewart.

The SDK is part of the application. You can't develop for ACT! without having the application.

We help resellers and add-on developers for ACT... If you want to discuss some of the options, feel free to drop me a message via the contact form at:
