Place for own settings in ACT database (by SDK)

1. I have some extra settings for my integration plugin for ACT. I need to keep my settings in ACT data base. Is it possible in my version (10.0), or in future version witch will by published soon?

2. Will be possible to create own extra tables in new version of ACT?

You can create custom tables in v 10.0.3 and above.  However they must always be linked to Contacts, Companies or Groups, they cannot be standalone.

I've never tried this and it is probable completely unsupported....

Why not use ACT!'s internal preference class.

Me.HostApplication.ActFramework.Preferences.UserPreferences.SetStringValue("MyPluginName\MyPrefName", "Prefvalue", Me.HostFramework.Contacts.GetMyRecord().ID)

Dim myPrefValue As String = String.Empty myPrefValue = Me.HostApplication.ActFramework.Preferences.UserPreferences.GetStringValue("MyPluginName\MyPrefName", "Prefvalue", Me.HostFramework.Contacts.GetMyRecord().ID)
