ACT has developed its opportunity area to a point that it rivals other CRM products in its design.
ACT can now be used for multi product forecasting and allows the recording of activities and notes that are pertinent to the sales process with the opportunity, so far so good.
Problem - Having sold ACT on its opportunity features it looks like it fails miserably when the sales manager wants a simple report that shows opportunities and the activity and notes associated with them. Is there no way to produce a report that shows this is ACT? I am fairly OK with report writing in ACT but for the life of me can not find a way of getting the information out of the built in ACT report writer.
I hope this is me missing something as I am going to look very embarrassed with the client if this has really been missed from the report design features!!!! I felt this was probably the best forum for the question as I have a horrible feeling someone is going to mention SDK !!!
