OLE DB2 provider

Hi all,

A few months ago I set up and used Excel with OLE DB 2 to pull in data - worked fine.

However, I have just migrated to Excel 2010 64 bit on a new PC (with Act 2012 installed) and I can't find out how to use the OLE DB2 provider again. I am not sure what I have forgotten, whether it's just stupidity, or both.

I go to:

Data connection wizard -> Other/Advanced

Then expect to see the Act OLEDB providers, but they are not there. Is this an issue with the 64 bit Office, or am I forgetting something obvious?

Many thanks.

Re: OLE DB2 provider

Hello actneedhelp,
ACT! will not integrate or connect to the 64-bit versions of Office. You will need to install the 32-bit version for compatibility.

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.
