New Line delimiter in History

Hello everyone,

A question from a newbie: I am writing a VB.NET application that writes contact history entries into the ACT database using the act framework dll's. Rather than having discrete entries, my client would like memo data posted to a single entry, but delimited by new lines. Does anyone know what combination of characters delimits a new line within history entries in the  database?

Re: New Line delimiter in History

If I'm understanding correctly, the goal here is to have a line break on the Regarding section of a history?

If so I believe Environment.NewLine works.

Yes, I would like to improve the layout of long history entries shown in the preview pane to the right of the history listing. I'll try inserting Environment.NewLine into the string as you suggest.

Thanks for the suggestion Matthew. Environment.Newline worked a treat.
