Is Act.Framework.ActFramework thread safe?

Or rather, is it safe to have a singleton which stores a single Act.Framework.ActFramework and passes it to every thread that needs to use it?

LogOn() has a bit of an over head, and so I was hoping to avoid having to use it often.

Re: Is Act.Framework.ActFramework thread safe?

Hi,

From my experience the answer is yes. I've developed several applications where ActFramework object was shared and used in several other threads. However, I've only used that ActFramework object to iterate through ContactList, ActivityList, CompanyList and OpportunityList and grab some field information from those records. So aside, from that I don't know.

Hope it helps

So just to clarify, you've used it that way, but essentially in "read only" mode?

Right, the algorithms I used didn't  write anything back to the database.
