We are a ACT premium customer and have back end sql server access to the act database.
We are wanting to replicate our act database onto a another server for reporting/web reporting purposes.
We plan on doing this using log shipping methods, where a full backup is taken and restored on the secondary server and then a series of transactional logs are taken throughout the course of the day and restored on the secondary server.
For this to occur the database needs to be in Full recovery mode. I have seen from the backend that by default act databases are in simple reecovery mode.
Is it advisable to change ACT to be in FUll recovery mode and do u see any issues with that in the performance of ACT.
Unless someone knows of an act add on that does what i need it to.
