Custom Tab on ACT For Web [ Edited ]

Hi,

We have a custom plugin develop which adds in a new tab on ACT Web. It works fine when viewing in a regular browser, but when viewing it on a mobile device the tab disappears when the layout is re-arranged.

Is there anything we can do to have the tab also appear on mobile?

Unfortunately, custom tabs are not currently supported on Act! Web Mobile.

Adding a tab in Act is actually very easy and doesn't require any addons or coding. Have a look at this Knowledgebase article which explains how to use the layout designer in Act. The section on tabs will show you how to add and edit new tabs.

Actually its a plugin, a tab with a gridview and some buttons connected to custom table. Do you have any examples on how to do that kind of customization via Act! Premium Web v18?
