Contact field linked to company field

by inkey on  12-08-2007 5:06 PM

I can't find the property to find out if a contact field is linked to a company field.

Hi Inge,

I'm not sure if this is the most efficient way, but it works! Smiley Surprised)

oFramework.LogOn(@"C:\Users\xxxx\Documents\ACT\ACT for Windows 10\Databases\ACT10Demo.PAD", "chris huffman", "");

Act.Framework.Contacts.ContactManager oContactMan = oFramework.Contacts;

Act.Framework.Contacts.
CompanyContactMapItem[] oCompContMapItem = oContactMan.GetLinkedCompanyContactFieldsMap();for (int i = 0; i < oCompContMapItem.Length; i++)

{

listBox1.Items.Add(oCompContMapItem[i].ContactFieldName);

}

oCompContMapItem =
null;oContactMan = null;

oFramework.LogOff();

oFramework = null;

So basically the CompanyContactMapItem contains the string name of the Contact Field and the Company Field and the Company Field Data Type. These are the Display Name of the FieldDescriptor.

 HTH

 Vivek.
