Act! Premium (Windows installation) v19-21 custom tables

Hi. I wonder if anyone is experiencing the same problem that I am.

When trying to update data to a custom table I am getting a failure with:

 

Act.Data

EXCEPTION #1

Invalid processor state. Processor not currently in a transaction.

END ERROR REPORT

 

There is a KB article http://kb.act.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/27437/kw/error%20as%20valid%20date, but none of the scenarios refered to are valid.

 

Does anyone have any ideas please?
