I have ben an Act user for sometime, and have really liked the ability to be able to set up an appointment in Act, and have it sync with Outlook. I just purchased Act 2013, and have a new computer with Windows 8 and Outlook 2013. After setting up in preferences, I have tried syncronizing with Outlook, and I keep getting a failed message. I would hate to have to set up the appointment in both Outlook and Act, if I don't have to. Thank you very much.

Im guesssing you are on prepacked ACT! 2013 with service pack 1. please see:
I still don't think this is fully supported yet though.
