Re: Sage ACT! 2012 Analytics FAQ

I see where you're coming from, but unless there's a refresh every single time you run Analytics you will never know if you have the latest information. That's why Ithink it should run like a report from the main ACT UI. That way you could force an automatic refresh each time it's run.

Sadly, it's all academic at the moment as 50% of Analytics doesn't work anyway.

Re: Sage ACT! 2012 Analytics FAQ

We are running into this permissions bug now with a client.  The following SHOULD fix the SQL Permissions and let ACTREADER see the two BI views.

sqlcmd -d<Database> -S.\ACT7 -E -Q"GRANT SELECT ON dbo.VWX_BI_HistoryView_Full to ACTREADER;GRANT SELECT ON dbo.VWX_BI_OpportunityView_FULL to ACTREADER"

It appears to only need to be run once, after the 1st build of the BI tables/views using either the commands posted earlier or using ACTDIAG and appears to stick over refreshing of the data using the ACTDIAG function.
