Re: Contact Web Context Browser

Presume also it won't be affected by whether credentials are needed to log in to Sharepoint? Presume those credentials would be prompted for? If I authenticate in a browser first and then use Act with the tab I presume that would resolve that issue too? Thanks Andy

Re: Contact Web Context Browser

Hi, anyone can share the WebContextBrowser v12 source for Group, Company and Opportunity?
I would like to amend them to retrieve GroupID, CompanyID and OpportunityID from ACT2011/12.

or anyone has such handy compiled controls to retreieve these IDs?

I have a Contact control to get ContactID by amending Contact source. If anyone needs it, I can share the control.

Have you used this with V16? Seems like I am missing something.

Shouldn't need with v16 as has been built in for a few versions. Also, v16 is .Net4 and this was 2.0 (I think)

OK, is this control the same as the Web Info tab in v16?

Re: Contact Web Context Browser

It's not exactly the same.  The webinfo tab was built off of this control, so essentially they do the same thing. This control allows for a bit more flexibility and of course the source code is published so for in depth development requirements you can use this control.

Re: Contact Web Context Browser

Anyone know if CompanyWebContext works with v16.1?  I have ContactWebContext working but Company just shows "double-click to configure".  I'm using the same URL on both.  Also, when setting it up in the layout designer I noticed that the sample value doesn't populate with the data from the referenced field.  I'm just trying to use the Company name.
