Seems it's a bit hit and miss as I haven't had any luck getting it to work on my laptop.

I was able to get it to load using matts version.

Curious that once again the old version works but the new one doesn't

I got the new file to work. Here's what I did:

Make sure ACT! is closed.


1. DELETE the old plug in file (Act.Plugin.Config.dll)

2. DELETE the DependentDlls.xml file

3. Add the new Act.Plugin.Config.dll file from the KB to the plugins folder

4. Right click the file and open the properties

5. UNBLOCK it at the bottom

6. Reopen ACT!


That worked for me on two computers we had issues with.

y'all may thnk I am a nut, but I can not find the DependentDlls.xml file on my computer. Can some one direct me to the file?

Hi Brian,

The DependentDlls.xml file is located in the application data location in the Windows user profile.

Windows Vista/7/8:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\ACT\ACT Data
