Re: Add-on Manager

Just to be clear, the tool hasn't gone anywhere and still works. I understand some folks are having issues loading the plugin but I've tested this myself and can confirm that it does still work. Unlike framework applications, plugins didn't require any changes moving to version 15.

Re: Add-on Manager

The tools here are all provided as is, however if I get some time I'll try to reproduce the issue you and Jeff are both having. I assume for both of you the plugin is failing to load and being added to DependentDlls.xml?

I don't have source for this plugin so it's a lot tougher for me to narrow down what the issue might be.

Re: Add-on Manager

Just an update....a colleague of mine had a copy of the plugin which was working and this resolved my issue. Not sure why my copy of the dll didn't work...?

See attached for the version that worked on my V15/2013 installation. Seems like a very old version of the file.

Kind regards,

Re: Add-on Manager

Did you delete the "DependentDlls.xml" file under the ACT Data folder in your user profile stored preferences?

If its not been loading previously it will still be in this file until deleted and ACT restarted.

Worked for me.

Re: Add-on Manager

Matthew

Forgot about deleting the DependentDlls.xml file this time round.

Just did so and it's now working with the August 2007 version of the file you supplied.

Many thanks for that!

Re: Add-on Manager

I needed Matthew's file also as the one I downloaded and used to work was no longer working.  Thanks!

Re: Add-on Manager

So, anyone like to speculate why the 2007 version works on ACT 2013 but the new version doesn't?
