I do a search for a person's name or company ... it brings up many unrelated records (maybe the word is in a Note?)
Really, it should have records with the search term in contact or company at the top of the list ... in face would do to only search those fields as those are most likely when mobile

Thanks Mike. The below text and link was from another post that was similar to what you have mentioned. I hope this helps out.
Keep in mind that the search bar looks into all contact fields on the contact record. So, for example if you entered in "Texas" you will get results for any contact that has the word "Texas" on any contact field, note or history.
Searching on the word "Texas" would bring back all three of the contacts below...

I've worked with a client and I've tried the last name lookup and that does not work, either. Shows so many names that appear in appropriate. Company lookup barely works. Basically, unless this can mirror the effectiveness of the desktop, which it defintely doesn't, I think this will be difficult to promote. The bar has been raised and it is difficult to get others to accept lowering it. The notes and histories are a good function, though.

Thank you for your feedback Mike L. As with other betas we have had in the past, this forum allows us to share with the developers what you experience so that by the time of the release, we should have a pretty strong product. I think, mmorgan_d, you are right the notes/history function is great.
