It enables browser based access without any local software installed, no VPN or sync servers. For customers that would prefer to not even set up a web server themselves there are a number of ACT! partners that provide a managed service through the HPP (Hosting Partner Program).
Of course there are customers that desire to use ACT! or ACT! Premium with synchronization. Since you are vendor of a product that may be helpful in this use case I would invite youto join our network of more than 100 ACT! Add-on products.
