The Cart Whisperer

We’re looking at ways to improve our shopping cart experience on our Web site. It’s been an ongoing process for a while, and we have lots of plans down the line. But, we’re also trying to make some incremental changes too. Watch for them in the near-ish future.

While I was doing some researching online on usability, user experience, cart abandonment, and similar metrics, I saw something I thought was pretty funny. It’s a video called the “cart whisperer” and it’s about cart abandonment. A disclaimer: Not sure who it's sponsored by (not sure if that's good or bad for the company who did it ...), but we have no affiliation with the vendor.

So I’ll keep looking at the serious stuff too, to make sure we’re making the right decisions as we look at our improvements. But, for now, check it out and see if you get a chuckle. One caveat, maybe only techy geeks like me and my folks who are into the Web stuff really appreciate the references, but enjoy nonetheless.
