Any chance that you can store emails in their native format. Meaning, when I log an email, if I was to click on that record in history, the original email would pop up, which I could forward, reply or do what I wish. What ACT stores when you store an email message into act is a very sub optimal data record that almost unusable for follow up. The easy solution would be to store emails natively. The email setup again is surprisingly limited and simplistic for an application of this advanced age. For email record history, the current choices are:
Email subject and message (recommended) - this is the setting that is suboptimal
Email subject, message and all attachments - this stored the entire email message as an attachment to the history record. This actually might satisfy the requirement if ACT stored the same detail as in "Email subject and message (recommended)" but interestingly, the only thing that is attached to the history record is the email attachment itself, making the history record fairly unintelligible and forcing the user to open the attachment. I guess as a short cut to a more elegant solution is to combine what you do in "Email subject and message (recommended)" and adding the email message as an attachment as well.
