
What drives me mad about the ACT 2010 Opportunity Product/Services tab view is that I can't see which company the contact belongs to if there are no Company level records. It would be a HUGE help if we could see the (contact level) Company name displayed next to the Contact name in the Association box.
[Or get ACT! to automatically create Companies from Contacts as per my other post, which would also solve the problem].
Whilst it's niceto have all the other tabs, a large number of ACT! users will only ever use the Opportunity/ Products tab and do not want to keep switching tabs just to find out which company the opportunity is associated with.
So. it's good to have the extra options in ACT 2010, but the data entry points are now fragmented in more tabs than before which makes creating an Opportunity more of a chore. Making the Opportunity List editable, like the Contact List would be one potential way to speed up data entry for many users.
