When you schedule the activity, try clicking Availability after selecting some resources... they will show

Very true. I just thought it would be useful to be able to see what resources were scheduled in calendar format without having to schedule something or click on a scheduled activity.

But how do you report on what resources have been used by whom so that you can charge them accordingly?

Can an ACT! report do this?

David,

Unfortunately, the resources don't get tracked in the History.

To create a report to charge, you'd need to do something on the closed Activities in Excel or Crystal or maybe Stonefield... and (to add some complexity) if the users sometimes change the duration in the History to show how much time was spent, it would also need to get the matching history and make the adjustments.

Thanks Mike.  That's very helpful and I will test your idea.

I think the tracking of resources in Histories has already been identified as an important missing function/report.
