This has been a pet peeve of mine for at least 7 years!

 

I schedule a phone call. Then at that time I use the dialer to make the call. Well, that initiates a history of itself, and later when the call ends and I check the activity as "done" it creates a duplicate record of the call. 

 

Making "Call Contact" an option from within the schedule activity would make life simpler and more productive.

As a relatively new user of the dialer feature I was convinced that I must have screwed up some setting that prevented me from dialing from a scheduled call...Now I read that this has been a "pet peeve for at least 7 years."

 

COME ON SAGE. Listen to your users. This can't be that hard to do. GET 'R DONE.
