http://www.google.com/search?q=[Company]

Note that you'll have to replace any spaces in [Company] with plus (+) sign but that should do it for you.

Unfortunately the Company Name did not dynamically substitute ... Google actually searched for the word 'Company'. Thanks for pointing me in right direction. Now I just need to figure out how to dynamically substitute the contents of field 'Company' from Contact record.

I just discovered that Act already has this feature built-in using Yahoo to search for the company. Simply click on View -> drop down to Internet Services -> Internet Links -> Yahoo! Search.

Well done, Sage ... I won't tell you how much time I spent building my own link and trying to substitute search parameter for field 'Company' into Google to do this!

This feature is built into ACT! 2010 - in the web info tab for each Company and Contact.  We have an add-on on devnet downloads that can be used to accomplish this in a tab view as well - the url would be:    http://www.google.com/search?q={Company.Company} to access this from the Company view.
