2010 Make the Tab visible when clicking New Opportunity selectable

Status:

When I click New Opportunity in ACT! 2010 I want to be in the Products/Services Tab, not Contacts tab. There should be someway of making my preferred option selectable.

Hi, Jeff:

You can do this in ACT! - just open up the layout designer for Opportunities. In the Edit menu, choose "tabs" and then you can move the product/services tab up to the top selection. This should make it the first tab and the default when you open the Opportunity detail view going forward.

I did try that and it didn't seem to work initially, however this morning it behaves exactly as you describe.
