I am using Act in both my notebook and Desktop at home. Sometimes from one another times another.

I would like to ensure that both databases are updated but don't know how can I make it. Would you please let me know what steps I should take to make it happen. Thanks in advance for your help.

Check the full version in Help | about... if 10.0.0 or 10.0.1, you should update to 10.0.2

You can download the current patch from http://www.act.com/support/updates/index.cfm

Then you'll need to merge the 2 databases into one and set up Application Sync as per this ACT! Knowledge Base article - http://tinyurl.com/4vkurw

Any body knows if there is any easy way to update (or Synchronise) the data base between two computers. I am using desktop some times and lap top another times but would like to ensure that I can update the databases in both computer. Is there any easy way like using USB key for that??

Also I don't know why my e mail merge dosn't wotk in laptop; since it is working perfect in desktop which has exact same setting for e mail.

I am given a sales target or quota for the rest of the year and I would like to set it up in act. Like how much is the sales target for each month. I couldn't find how I can define that. Any idea.

To import one database into another, see this ACT! Knowledge Base article - http://tinyurl.com/3s8djt

Then look at the link I posted above to set up sync. No, it can't be done via a USB
