Did you try the Magic DB Explorer program? As using this I have been able to export the Notes history (though it's pretty messy with bits of gobbledegook - requires lots of clean up). It seems logical to me that the sql used to export the Notes should be able to be adjusted to export the Appointment History instead... but I don't know anything about sql (just copied the sql kindly provided by jtothez in this thread, which I tried unsuccessfully to amend).
ACT is one big clunky pain - I am exporting because we are transferring everything to an industry specific software program.
