Customizing Columns

Hello,

I recently started using Act! by Sage.  One issue I came across was customizing columns.  When I go to the opportunity list, I am able to customize columns but only the names that are given. I was wondering how to customize columuns using my own names?  Thank you.

When customizing columns in any view, the column names available are determined by the fields that are used in that view. So if want to use specific column names in the Opoortunity List, you would need to edit the Opportunity field names by going to Tools/Define Fields and selection "Opportunities" in the "View Fields for" dropdown.
