Re: CALENDAR INTEGRATION - OUTLOOK AND ACT

What (exact) steps do you use? Tools, Outlook Activities, Update Activities, one way, from Outlook to Act
Is the problem that nothing happens? Yes, it starts, shows on the toolbar, and they doesn't do anyting...just fades out.
Is there an error message? no
Data goes one way but not the other (which way)? no
Is there anything in ACT! Log or Windows event Log?no
Have you tried a Detect and Repair in Outlook? Yes, twice, and it lost all of my Emails which I subsequently recoved with a call to Dell. Act Tech. caused the problem becasue they told me to do a Detect and Repair.

Re: CALENDAR INTEGRATION - OUTLOOK AND ACT

If it's any consolation, I started with ACT back in the days of DOS, and while it is a good place to store all my contacts, it's never lived up to it's marketing hype.  I too looked forward to integrating the calendar function ( and email) with Outlook but to no avail.  Every new software revision raises our hopes, only to drop us back to reality, with a slightly lighter wallet.  Thanks for all the tips.  At least it gives me ( and my network guru) something to try.

Re: CALENDAR INTEGRATION - OUTLOOK AND ACT

I ran the scan.exe on all outlook.pst files found. Now it lost all EMails and Contacts in Outlook. BIG PROBLEM.
How do I restore them?
I tried a system restore but that did not fix it.
Thanks,
John
