How do I get rid of time stamp in reports

I am using the standard calendar drop down box.

When I run a report the field that I selcetd foir the calendar input shows the date and the time stamp.

How do I remove the time stamps?

In the report editor, right click on the field and select properties and then the format tab, choose your format there.

It was puzzling because only one of 10 users had the problem.
