Could we have a way of tracking specific opportunities so that we can obtain a report of sales opportunity conversion rates over various time periods?

 

The basic data is in there, it's just not that easy to convert it to useful information.

 

I would like to be able to pick a time period e.g.. January 2008 or Q1 2008 and get a report that tells me what percentage of the new opportunities opened in that period have been closed and won, and the average time to close the sale (days open). YOu could then look at the conversion rates by sales area or by product group, whatever.

 

This is basic sales management information.

 

That's not asking the world is it of a piece of sales and marketing software?
