Automatically Backing Up Your Database in ACT! by Sage 2010

Backing up your database enables you to recover quickly from equipment failures or other catastrophes (like having your laptop stolen…Yikes). It can also help you move your database to a new location or give it a new name. (In fact, it is the only way to rename your database). ACT! comes with a built-in backup utility, which not only can back up all of your database information, but can also backup your personal supplemental files as well.

The ACT! Scheduler can automate the task for you so that your database is backed up on a regular schedule to the location you specify.
