I need some advice. I'm using ACT2013 Pro and my email history is not attaching to my contacts. I can see ACT is trying to attach the emails because I can see this running on the task bar. It seems as though they are stuck in the progress mode.
Any suggesting on how to fix this issue?

Are those messages definitely not in your history? The image you provided is showing the emails that have been attached into ACT. It appears to have processed the queue, as there are 0 messages left to attach. You need to check the Not Attached messages tab to see which ones didn't attach and why. Usually its because the correct contact can't be found in ACT.
If you are certain those messages have not attached into your ACT history, or any others, then please take a look at this knowledge base article as there can be quite a few reasons this is happening.

Double checked and they are not attached. I'll do a bit more research see if I can find something.
Everything was working fine until our server in NY went down during the hurricane and they had to reset our email system.

What version of Outlook are you using?
You may want to try removing the ACT Address book from outlook and then going through the email setup wizard in ACT again to reconnect it to the act database to see if that helps.

Yes, the same article applies to 2012 as well. Take a look at the "No email history created" link I mentioned in an earlier post.

I used Act! 2 (DOS version), then 4 and then I sat on 6 until a few days ago when I realised I would have to soon say goodbye to XP. Act! 6 gave me no hassles at all - fairly customised.
So far Act! Version 16 Pro has been a very pleasant experience. I'm running Win 7 Pro 64 (16GB) and MS Office 2007 (incl Outlook 2007).
The only exception is that I cannot get MS Outlook 2007 emails I send TO clients to attach to the relevant contact.
I am pretty sure that my email setup is correct.
I have selected "email header, message and all attachments" and "To and From".
I have tried everything I can find on the internet, but to no avail.
Email FROM clients attaches to History without any problems.
Can you perhaps suggest anything else to try, apart from what you have already posted, please.
Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Problem is solved: I think it was either that registry tweak (missing history queue) or the first hotfix.

BTW: even running Act! v16 on a reasonable machine I notice that attaching a lot of history or documents at once can lead to possible chokes....this might have contributed to the problem. When I only attache about 20 docs or emails at a time all seems well.
I'm back to my normal genial self!
