Hello Sage ACT! Community,
I would like to make the Community aware of a way you can potentially find answers to questions and solutions to your issues faster by using the Search function in this forum. There is a lot of good information posted by Community members, so the answer you seek may already be available to you. Instead of making a new post and waiting for a reply, try using the Search function in this forum to find a post that may help you right away. Here's how:
1. From the Community Home screen, click on the board that applies to your version of Sage ACT! (i.e. Sage ACT!, Sage ACT! Premium, Sage ACT! Connect)
2. In the upper right (under the Community banner) you will see a long box, a dropdown, and a Search button
3. Type in a few keywords in the box for your question, issue, or error message, choose "Board", then click Search.
4. You will get a results list of all posts made on that board that contain your keywords. On the left side of this screen you can filter the results by date range, whether it's been marked as Solved, and other filters. You can also click the "Advanced Search" link above the results list to create a more defined search.
If you do find a post that helps you or if a member responds to your post with the answer you need, go ahead and click the Accept As Solution button in the lower right corner of that post so other members can see that the information helped. This Community is user-driven, so it's important to give as well as receive - share the knowledge!
This Community has been around over 4 years with more than 80,000 posts made and growing, so there's a good chance you'll find what you need by doing a search!
If you don't find what you're looking for in this Community, then another great resource you can use is the Sage ACT! Knowledgebase. Click HERE to access the Knowledgebase to help find the answers you need. You can also access the Knowledgebase under the "Support and Training" section of our website at www.act.com, or directly from your Sage ACT! program by going to Help > Service and Support > Knowledge Base Articles.
