I am using Act! 2011 Premium and Outlook 2010. My emails won't attach and when I go into the Outlook Trust Center to see the Add Ins, the Act Outlook Addin is disabled. I cannot enable the Addin, no matter what I do it will not enable. In the Trust Center I checked it - enabling it - and then if I go back into the Trust Center to verify it's enabled, it's disabled.
I also have the Email Setup Preferences in Act setup for Outlook.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Hello BWS,
Welcome to the Sage ACT! Online Community. If you recently applied the SP1 update to ACT! 2011, this may have disabled the Outlook Add-In. This issue has been resolved with ACT! 2011 SP1 Hot Fix 1. Please see KB Article 27440 for instructions to download and apply this hot fix.

Thank you. It turned out I already had the Hotfix 1, but then realized there was a Hotfix 2. I installed HF 2, and then set everything up and the situation was resolved.

I'm having the same problem. Outlook's Act Plug In's have stopped working. However, I have ACT! Pro 2011 Version 13.0.401.0, Hot Fix 2.
Have tried the uninstall, reinstall ACT & no joy.
Help please!

Hi I'm in a similar position. I am running Outlook 2007 and ACT! 2011 Premium Version 13.1.111.0, Hotfix 1. The add-in wasn't working so I had no buttons in Oulook. I installed SP1 that included Hotfix 1 yesterday and all was fine.
This morning on opening Outlook I was told there was 'a serious error with th Act! add in' and given the option to disable the add in.
It doesn't appear that here are any current Hotfixes that would address this issue.

Hello PhilA,
Welcome to the ACT! Online Community!
Assuming you then disabled the add-in, were you able to re-enable the add-in?
Be sure to check the Event Viewer for errors that may help indicate the cause of the problem.
As tests, you will want to try:
- in Act! database > run Tools / Database Maintenance / Check and Repair option
- add a different database to the Outlook Address Book
- run Office Diagnostics > found in the programs menu under Microsoft Office / Microsoft Office Tools / Microsoft Office Diagnostics

I'm using Outlook 2010 v14.0.5128.5000 (32 bit)
Also, the act icons are no longer visable in the Outlook tool Bar...
