Need a better way from the Contact Detail Activity Tab or Click on Call Button to create Call activity schedule setting the time based on seeing in the Start time drop down dialog all the times taken for calls / todo's ect so I can then see and just type in an open time and not get the Conflict Alert.
Currently ACT only shows 30min increments so if one Call is set at 9AM I can't just click on 9AM and fine tune it to say 9:06AM it will only allow me to select the next 30 min. increament or I get the conflict warning and have to click around all over again to see what times are taken.

In your Calendar Preferences (Tools/Preferences/Calendar & Scheduling) you can change the Calendar increment to 5 minutes. Would that help?

No that only effects the Calendar window view not the Schedule Activity General Tab Start time: drop-down windo view increments. I attached JPG screen shot.

Has this been resolved? I've recently upgraded my ACT and have run into the same problem. I would like to schedule my activities in the calendar and used to have the drop down menu indicated in your screenshot. The problem now, when I try to schedule, is that I'm constantly in conflict with other activities I've set because I have no way of seeing what else I have set for that day. This has been one of many obstacles I've encountered since upgrading and I really hope there's a simple preference setting tweak to fix this issue.

I'm still running ACT Prem 2013 (V15)
The issue is still there when I hit the Call Icon to create a following call date/time when I select time the window is very restrictive in showing 30min increments. 9:00, 9:30, 10:00 ect..
My work around is type in if there is a scheduled call at say 9:00 and another 9:30 to type in for a third call 9:05 and see if it takes it.
The other work around is after you go to the contact record and hit Call icon and you see conflict to then select the TASK List Table to view all Tasks (or change its Filter from All Dates to Today) to see what times are taken. Then still in that Table view you can hit Call button again since the contact record detail you had up should be the task your scheduling for.
