I have ACT version 6.0 in my company. I need to find out how to search for contacts that were created on a certain date. Can anyone tell me how to do this? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
So there's absolutly no way to look up contacts by create date in ACT 6? I just find it hard to believe. I suppose I will have to call the customer service center.
ACT! 6 is no longer supported in technical support.
The reason that you can't search by create date is because the date you see in the ACT! program is an interpretation of the actual stored date is a binary number which is a count of the seconds that had elapsed since a past date. I believe the anchor date was 1-1-1980 but it could have been an earlier date.
Thank you for the explanation, it makes a lot more sense now. I've been trying to talk my boss into upgrading to the new one anyway, just one more reason!
