Database Transfer

I have Act for Real Estate 2008 and would like to transfer the database to Act 2004.  Can this be done?

I'm assuming that you mean ACT! 6. I believe there was a version they called ACT! 2004 but it was still ACT 6. For that you would need a third party exporter. Check here. http://www.jltechnical.com

Would this be necessary to move an ACT! 6.0.3 database into ACT! Connect as well?
