ACT! 2002 build 6.0.0.679 upgrade to ACT! 2012 Premium

I have been using ACT! 2002 for 6 years on a small business with about 3000 contacts.  It's working fine for me, but are there any major reasons someone can give me to think about upgrading?

I just don't want to be totally left in the dust.  But, I don't want to encounter any major problems either.

One local user; won't ever need more than that.

Would like to sync with Google Calendar, but not willing to encounter issues if that is the only upside.

Sooner or later you're going to have issues with ACT! 6. Namely Windows 7 and any version of Office later than 2003.

In most cases it won't install, if you get it installed it won't connect to email, etc.
