I AM THE ADMINISTRATOR FOR OUR ACT DATABASE AND FREQUENTLY FIND THE NEED TO EMAIL THE RECORD MGR OF A LEAD REGARDING A NEW ADDRESS, CONTACT NAME, ETC. BEING ABLE TO DO THIS WHILE IN THE LEAD RECORD WOULD BE MOST HELPFUL FOR TRACKING PURPOSES, ETC. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
There's a lot of different ways this could possibly be accomplished. One way might be to create a plug-in that captures the current opportunity (assuming that's what you meant by lead) and then you'd have access to the record manager property of the current opportunity. WIth this you could call the send email method which has a contact parameter.
